PS7’s Happy Hour

As a person who likes top shelf drinks, but can only afford to pay bottom shelf prices I’m always on the look out for deals.  

Long gone are the days of rum & cokes or cranberry juice & vodkas.  If I’m going to drink I want something good.  I’m taking dirty martini, manhattan, or a concoction of the fancy sorts. 

After browsing at the PS7’s happy hour menu, I met some friends to see if it was as good in person as it looked on paper. 

$7 for a “Featured Cocktail” is a deal that can’t be ignored.

We took a seat in their contemporary looking lounge and ordered away.  The table got a selection of their lounge menu and I took to ordering the Pear Supreme. (Vodka, Housemade Pear Nectar and Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice)

While the lounge menu of half smokes, tuna sliders and risotto balls were forgettable and insanely small portions, the Pear Supreme was just as I had hoped.  A sweet, tangy concoction that went down easy and left me wanting more.  Another drink later I was smiling and ready to stagger home. (Yes, I’m a pretty cheap date)

I would definitely recommend PS7’s for someone looking to chat with a friend over a good cocktail in trendy urban surroundings.  The lounge was fairly vacant during my visit, but I can’t imagine a good cocktail being ignored by the masses for long.
