Spork and Knife

I’ve gotten wind of another festival in the fair city of D.C.  It appears street fun is where it’s at in September and October. 

 Mark your calendars for Saturday September 29th, for the 5th annual Oktoberfest on Capitol Hill (the 500-700 blocks of 8th street).  According to the Capitol Hill Association of Merchants and Professionals, there will be an Oktoberfest beergarden, an armed forces military culinary competition, live entertainment (including the marine corp and navy bands) and 80 different vendors represented. 

Festivities start at 12:00pm and last through 6:00pm.  I will update with more details as I find them.
